Chart notes
WILLING TO BURN saved ground setting the pace and drew clear during the drive. LAKER JET prompted WILLING TO BURN from along the outside, could not stay with that one but was clearly second best. GOLD COAST GIRL was forwardly placed while racing three-wide and finished well for third in a steady effort. SHELBY GOLD was allowed to settle while racing four-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. LA POPIS saved ground while being reserved, angled out nearing the quarter pole to be four-wide entering the stretch and tired.
