Chart notes
ICE TOWER was close-up racing along the inside, briefly waited room leaving the quarter pole, angled out two-wide to split rivals nearing the three-sixteenths pole then took the lead nearing the eighth pole and edged clear late. A LOT OF VERVE was allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. MR. EXECUTIVE prompted thje pace while two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished well in a good effort. PASS THE CROWN was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch then offered a bid nearing the eighth pole and flattened out in the late stages. PICAHOUSE broke in the air to get away behind the field then was unhurried, came six-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. VANDULIE vied for the lead from along the inside to the stretch and tired.
