Chart notes
HAPPY STRIKE drifted out at the start which caused GOLD SEARCH to steady, led the way in opening stages then took on a duo leaving the first turn, vied inside of rivals up the backstretch and into upper stretch, drifted out a path after IRISH RANSOM weakened from between, battled on with RABBIT HOUND, held a slight edge and just lasted. RABBIT HOUND engaged rivals for the lead leaving the first turn, vied for command racing three deep up the backstretch, continued to battle with duo around the turn, shook off IRISH RANSOM and kept on with HAPPY STRIKE, rival held a slight edge, dug in gamely, was inching up approaching the wire and got nipped for the win. IRISH RANSOM moved up leaving the first turn to duel for the lead, vied between rivals up the backstretch and around the far turn, could not maintain equal terms at the furlong marker, angled to the inside and cleared show. FORCED RANKING settled along the inside up the backstretch, swung four wide into upper stretch and improved position without threatening. GOLD SEARCH got pinched back and was forced to steady at the start, rated off the top trio, hustled along four wide around the turn then weakened in the lane. I LOVE ROCKNSTROLL drifted in at the start which caused GOLD SEARCH to steady, sat off the early pace while never too far back, chased inside around the far turn, failed to advance then faded in the lane.
