Chart notes
RED DIAMOND was off the pace early then moved closer from inside, shifted to the two path around the bend, tipped out at the top of the lane, challenged the top pair from outside in the final furlong, dueled with ANNIE'S HOPE late and dug in to best the runner-up. ANNIE'S HOPE dueled from inside, held a narrow lead over outer rival through the turn, held a short lead over outer rivals in midstretch, fought inside RED DIAMOND in the last sixteenth and yielded grudgingly. MISTY MUPPET dueled for the lead from outside up the backstretch and around the bend, fought between rivals into the final furlong and weakened in deep stretch. ISABEL LUDLOW trailed up the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, steered out in the lane and gained minor ground late. TALENT FOR GOLD stalked off the rail then outside a rival, lost ground two to three wide around the turn and weakened down the lane.
