Chart notes
CAPTAIN CHOOCHIES vied between rivals into the first turn, inched ahead on the backstretch, cleared on the second bend, drew away and asked right handed in upper stretch, then was ridden out through the final furlong. BEARINGS raced in range from inside then two wide on the first turn, drew closer three deep in the middle stages, took aim three wide outside STICK SHIFT entering the lane, could not cutting into the winners' lead in the furlong grounds but was clearly second best. STICK SHIFT vied four then three deep early, pressed the pace from outside up the backstretch, could not keep up and gave chased in the two path through the far turn, then weakened in the late stages. MONGOLIAN GOLD trailed two wide then along the inside, came off the rail into the backstretch, navigated the far turn three then two wide and improved position. TRACK AND FIELD chased four then three wide around the clubhouse turn, coaxed along while dropping back in the middle stages, traveled four then five wide on the far turn before angling into the three path, eased in the lane and walked off. HE DID vied three deep between rivals into the first turn then moved into the two path around the bend, lost ground under coaxing up the backstretch, chased two wide leaving the backstretch, moved over to the rail around the bend and tired while coaxing along through the lane. DADDY JUSTIFY showed brief speed from inside then stalked the top trio, tired and eased on the far turn, pulled up at the top of the lane and walked off.
