Chart notes

LIBERTE DE BAYEUX moved up on the outside to dispute the pace, shook clear with a half-mile to run, controlled the action in the two path on the turn, responded well when set down in upper stretch, drew off under a solid hand-ride into the final furlong, was put to a right-handed crop at the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under steady urging. C SUITE BOY bobbled a stride from the start, was well placed towards the front, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, was carried out while chasing the leader in upper stretch, drifted in inside the furlong marker and safely secured the place. FORCED ERRORS was urged along while contesting the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, chased inside on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved out near the furlong marker and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. SHAKIN THE BELLE broke out a bit at the start, dropped back under urging, moved from the three path to the two path early on the turn and failed to threaten. WILD NUGGET veered out at the start and was off a bit slow, angled in then chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three path, drifted out under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, drifted in while being flagged with a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and weakened. IRISH TIDES was fractious behind the gate, ducked in and tossed his head at the start, was off slow then taken up with the right-rein while corrected, raced well behind the rest under urging, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, came out in upper stretch and was no factor.
