Chart notes
DUBAI AND BACK (IRE) set his own uncontested early pace, dug in deep stretch and prevailed under all out pressure. OXFORD UNION settled off the early pace, made a four wide bid near the quarter pole and finished gamely to the wire. RETURN FIRE tracked the early pace setter near the inside and kept on willingly through the drive. NANGA PARBAT (GB) stalked the pace, saved ground to race from the inside throughout and had not enough in the drive. SHIP MASTER was unhurried early, hard ridden into the far turn, raced five to six wide into the upper stretch but needed more in the drive. STARFORCE was allowed to settle early in the early going, raced from the inside into the upper stretch and lacked a rally. ELFUEGOMASBRILANTE stalked the pace, raced six wide into the upper stretch and faded through the stretch drive. SKYLER'S ARTEMIS failed to sustain a bid.
