Chart notes
MANDY'S MISS was off slowly, rushed up between early, hard ridden three wide near the quarter pole and surged clear late under strong handling. VICKI VALE set the early pace just off the inside, dug in near the eighth pole and kept on to finish second best. KITTY OF WAR stalked the pace, saved ground around the far turn into the stretch and raced along for third while being no match for the top pair. LAGUARDIA settled off the early pace, swung wide into the upper stretch and lacked a rally. PRETTY GEISHA saved ground and never was a factor. SANDI SUE pressed the early pace setter, checked from the inside near the three eighths pole and faded thereafter. Jockey of Sandi Sue claimed objection against Vicki Vale for interference near the three eighths pole and stewards ruled no change.
