Chart notes
COMMANDER WORSLEY broke outwardly but quickly moved clear, dictated the pace near but off the fence and in the clear, widened when asked, was kept to the task. AUDAX MINOR chased from outside, was encouraged along by the three-eighths, floated out five wide turning for home, drifted a bit in the stretch, was no match for the winner but kept on to get the place over OK SPEEDY, who tracked in behind inside, moved out past the five-sixteenths, was the lone threat in upper stretch but could not kick on late. GEE POWER broke in a bit, chased but soon dropped back racing off the rail in the two to three path, was ridden along by the seven-sixteenths, passed foes in upper stretch but needed more. MAD CHATTER was under a hold early dropping back between runners under rating tactics, shifted out midway on the turn, came to the top of the stretch six deep and under a drive, made no bid. DIVA'S GHOST broke a step slowly and was squeezed and shut off at the start, lacked early speed racing well back and last but one, saved ground till being guided out near the quarter pole, failed to threaten. IRISH DEPUTY was outpaced early, raced far back, came out in the stretch and ran on. BAPTIST BILLY broke in a bit, was switched out off the rail and keen to advance up the backstretch racing about two to three wide, was mid-pack into the turn but retreated thereafter.
