Chart notes
I LOVE TO WIN co-trailed on the inside down the backstretch, edged closer on the fence to track inside by the half, was asked right-handed keeping pace in midturn, angled out six wide in range of the lead two straightening out for the drive and found another gear late under a vigorous ride at the sixteenth pole to get up in the final few strides before the wire for the win. SCARY SPEEDY was away alertly for the lead at the start, then settled into stride tracking the frontrunner outside down the backstretch, began to creep closer, measuring the leader at the three furlong pole, took closer order to loom boldly five wide in upper stretch, seized control between foes at the furlong marker but could not find more in reserve to hold off the late surge by the winner in deep stretch. ADA MAY was eager on the lead inside, increased the margin up top considerably by the half mile marker, still was up front but by a dwindling margin at the quarter pole when being roused, was collared outside in the three path turning for home, battled on until emptying out at the eighth pole and just managed to hold on for the show money while getting leg weary at the finish line. ONEJABTOOMANY co-trailed this compact bunch on the outside down the backstretch, could see the field three deep by the half, could not keep up losing ground to rivals around the bend and finished up willingly down the stretch to almost catch the tiring frontrunner just at the wire for the third placing.
