Chart notes
TONGUE TWISTER was well placed on the inside, came under some urging on the far turn, swung out into upper stretch, rallied to make a bid inside the furlong marker, gained the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole and just held under strong urging. SURPRENANT COCCA angled in leaving the chute, saved ground while unhurried at the rear, moved off the rail late on the far turn, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to just miss while up for the place. SETTLING STORM tucked in nearing the first turn, raced in the three path on that bend, was reserved off the pace, went two then three wide on the far turn, came four wide into upper stretch, rallied to make a bid late but missed while able to get the show. SWEET DUTCHESS went around the first turn in the four path, tracked the pace on the outside, gained to make a bid in the three path on the far turn, took a slim advantage coming to the quarter-pole, led under a drive into the final furlong, was headed outside the sixteenth-pole and outfinished. NEXT ON STAGE moved in while going to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked while inside on the far turn, lost the advantage coming to the quarter-pole, fought on well into the final sixteenth but was also outfinished. SHE IS INVINCIBLE (GB) was taken under a tight hold early then reserved in the two path, moved to the three then four path on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed kick. SILENT MELODY was taken under restraint early then reserved while saving ground, came under urging on the far turn and lacked the needed response. THORNY went around the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, saved ground while roused on the far turn and failed to respond. MORE MANGO went two to three wide on the turns and was no factor. QUITE CONTINENTAL moved out early, traveled around the first turn in the four path, settled on the outside without cover, dropped back fast while moving from the four path to the six path on the far turn, floated into the ten path at the quarter-pole and faltered.
