Chart notes
MANNY TOO took the lead at the three quarter pole and rated the pace while tapering to the inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole and was met off the rail midway on the far turn, recovered the advantage inside the eighth pole, ran clear mid-stretch then held on well. BOLD ROCK stalked inside on the opening turn, eased out with a bid nearing the three eighths pole and met the winner at even terms midway on the far turn, took a brief nod entering the stretch but relented in the duel through the stretch. DIRECT APPEAL rounded the first turn in the five path, moved to the outside into the backstretch and bid approaching the three eighths pole, raced four wide on the far turn then flattened stride mid-stretch. JACK'S ALOHA rated off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then flattened in the lane. BABY BOSS ALLEN raced in the four path the opening turn, gave chase past the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn five wide, but showed little in the lane. JOHN'S NOTION raced with the early pace inside, challenged the winner leaving the three eighths pole but dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn and weakened in the lane. OUR BRIGHTEST STAR saved ground on the first turn, settled toward mid track entering the backstretch and showed little response. SAPPHIRUS settled close about the four path on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but weakened in the three path on the far turn.
