Chart notes

RUN CURTIS RUN was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, waited behind the leaders in upper stretch, found room along the rail coming to the quarter-pole, rallied to get the lead just inside the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under good handling. TALL PAUL bumped with a rival at the start, went to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, led into the final sixteenth then was overtaken while able to get the place. YARROW brushed with a foe at the start, settled in the front half of the field, was asked three wide on the turn, pursued the leader in the stretch and finished willingly to just get the show. VACATION DANCE tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the turn, made an outside bid under the crop in upper stretch, battled outside of two foes into the final sixteenth and was outfinished then just missed the show. MAXWELL ESQUIRE brushed with a rival at the start, was urged along off the pace, went three then four wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and also finished willingly. RUSSI bumped with a rival at the start, bumped with foes on both sides near the nine-sixteenths, went around the turn in the two path, was asked for his best in upper stretch and lacked the needed kick. KREESA bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, bumped with opponents on both sides near the nine-sixteenths, settled between horses, raced two path to the inside on the turn and lacked the needed response. FEATHERS ROAD broke in a bit then dropped back under urging, went four wide on the turn, came five wide into upper stretch and failed to rally. ROUGH DRAFT bumped with a foe at the start, bumped with that same rival near the nine-sixteenths, went three then two wide on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and also failed to rally. LOTSA TROUBLE leaned in and brushed the gate at the start, was urged along near the back on the outside, traveled around the turn in the two path and failed to threaten. SCUTTLEBUZZ broke a bit slow then was taken up with a snatch of the left-rein, spotted the front many lengths, raced in the three path on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, moved out near the furlong marker and was no factor. ICY FLAVOR bumped with a rival near the nine-sixteenths then dropped back quickly, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond.
