Chart notes
STEADFAST RESOLVE settled along the inside through the first turn at the tail of the field, chased two then three wide patiently handled until set down angled seven wide into upper stretch, closed well on the outside through the final furlong and rolled by the leader inside the sixteenth marker to prevail edging away at the end. MIDWAY LIGHTS established the front and showed the way along the inside early on, got displaced from command by FIRE BARON at the five furlong marker and tracked that rival in closest aim, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command nearing the sixteenth pole, then got overhauled by the top one in the late stages while safe for the place honors. HURRICANE EXPRESS (FR) tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, angled out near the sixteenth marker forcing CHASING MO MONEY to pause in behind, then ran on to secure the show honors. FIRE BARON forwardly placed just off the inside, advanced to take over command five furlongs out, showed the way tucked to the inside through the far turn, got let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared nearing the sixteenth pole, then kept on to the finish. FLICKER (GB) along the inside through the first turn, chased four to five wide down the backstretch and then three wide through the far turn under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. CHASING MO MONEY broke a half a beat slow and inwards at the start bumping BOURBON OUTLAW solidly in the hindquarters and spinning that rival outwards, then corrected and bumped COMANCHE PEAK, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was forced to take hold and pause a sixteenth out when HURRICANE EXPRESS tipped out directly in front, never recovered to the finish. COMANCHE PEAK (GB) broke a half a beat slow and was bumped at the start by the aforementioned foe, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, went six to seven wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. GET READY TO ROCK saved ground in pursuit from mid pack, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch and offered no response. BOLT D'PLATA chased two to three wide until tucked inside through the far turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and offered no rally. BOURBON OUTLAW got bumped solidly in the hind end at the start and was spun outwards by CHASING MO MONEY, chased two to three wide patiently handled until set down angled five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and weakened in the late stages. VERY SATISFACTORY three wide through the first turn, chased four then two wide under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, swung five wide for home and came up empty. DANGEROUS DRIVER chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, went three wide at the top of the stretch, offered no kick.
