Chart notes
NON COMPLIANT broke well, stalked outside rivals five, four then three wide on the clubhouse turn, exited the backstretch in the three path, challenged from outside approaching the quarter pole, put a head in front in upper stretch, then drew away from NOONI in the final sixteenth. NOONI stepped to the front and showed the way while a bit keen in hand into the clubhouse turn, dictated up the backstretch, confronted by NON COMPLIANT nearing the quarter pole, lost command entering the final furlong and yielded to the winner with a sixteenth remaining. TENMA brushed the gate then rushed up to a forward position in the three then two path, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, roused behind the leader while racing along the rail at the quarter pole, tipped two wide leaving the bend, weakened in the stretch run but managed to hold on for the show. IN THE AIR TONIGHT tracked two wide into the first turn then moved over to the rail, ridden along saving ground through the far turn but failed to menace. SHOWERS chased in the four path entering the first turn then steered over to the two path around the bend, lost ground under asking through the second bend and came up empty in the drive. OM N JOY trailed three then two wide early, continued in the two path at the back around the far turn, was eased in the lane and walked off.
