Chart notes
CITIZEN BULL showed good early foot to establish the front and moved inside, took pressure from GETAWAY CAR into the far turn, cleared that rival past the three-eighths pole, given his cue approaching the stretch, asked left handed at eighth pole, switched to the right hand shortly after, then remained clear to the wire under a flagging from a left handed crop late. GETAWAY CAR off alertly and raced up close outside the pacesetter, applied pressure at the seven-sixteenths pole, lost touch with CITIZEN BULL past the three-eighths pole, chased a bit off the rail into the lane, stayed within striking distance of the winner through stretch but could not summon the needed late kick while clearly second best. MCKINZIE STREET stalked the pace along the rail, remained closer to the far turn, ridden along while continuing to save ground on the second bend, asked right handed entering the stretch but lacked the needed response. EMERALD BAY stalked four then three deep around the clubhouse turn, came under a ride chasing outside MCKINZIE STREET on the far turn, entered the lane two to three wide and faded down the lane. SHOW OF FORCE had to take up behind CITIZEN BULL early, bumped with MISCHIEF RIVER racing between rivals and steadied shortly after on the first turn, started to climb around the bend and into the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and could not make an impact. START MO UP was off a bit slow to begin, trailed five wide into the first turn then angled in a few paths, traveled outside a rival up the backstretch, saved ground at the back of the pack on the far turn and was never a factor. MISCHIEF RIVER bumped with inner rival three deep into the first turn, stalked between rivals in the two path around the bend, pulled from the three-quarter pole to the nine-sixteenths marker, dropped back off the pace, chased two wide on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run.
