ARISTELLA was tucked in on the rail liking what she sees behind the three leaders contesting up top, settled into a good rhythm behind the lead threesome down the backside on the fence, shifted out ready to pounce with five sixteenths to go, was forced to move four wide at the quarter pole, took control in the three path turning for home, shrugged off the outside challenger with a sixteenth left to run and held safely at the finish line for the score. DREXEL HILL was part of the pack in last while going three wide on the outside, made a bold move five wide swooping around rivals with two furlongs from the finish, loomed the main threat in the five path in upper stretch but was repelled by the winner with a sixteenth of a mile remaining and easily bested the rest for the runners up share. ORIENT BEACH stalked between foes at the rear into the first turn, made little improvement down the back straight, mounted a rally in the two path with a quarter mile to run, shifted out four wide in upper stretch, never wavered in the stretch drive and kept on closing in to get up for the show money. NORTH YORK prompted the pace three wide on the initial turn, continued to keep a close eye on the lead duo while going three deep down the backstretch, moved in to take command three wide midpoint on the final bend, was then headed outside by the winner in upper stretch, could not go with the top two finishers at the furlong pole and faded late to just lose third place at the wire. ALTA CALIBRE was part of the group of three at the back of the pack tucked in on the rail, closed the gap on the fence down the backstretch, had to wait behind the tiring early speed foes at the quarter pole, angled out five wide at the top of the lane and finished up one paced to the wire. SALMIAKKI was fractious in the stall prior to the start, travelled outside tracking the lead trio on the first of two turns, settled between foes in midfield along the backside, came under a ride three wide but was not gaining ground with five sixteenths to run but did show some late interest to pass the early dueling leaders down the stretch run. NASHYAN pressed the issue on the rail early, improved inside to have a slight advantage on the rail down the backstretch, was collared outside by runners with five sixteenths to go and backed away on the fence turning for home. YORKTON ROSE had a slim lead in the two path between foes into the first turn, hounded the frontrunner between rivals along the backside, dueled up front midway around the far turn but had nothing left for the drive and tired in upper stretch. TIZ HER MONEY stumbled badly to her knees at the start dislodging the rider and walked off.
