Chart notes
MOUFFY settled off the pace racing near but off the rail, came out six wide in upper stretch, found room between runners but was carried in a bit while gaining on the leaders, drifted out through the final sixteenth and just got the nod. NADETTE (FR) settled off the pace, trailed into the turn, saved ground on that bend before being guided out at the five-sixteenths, came out ten wide in upper stretch, rallied strongly in the center of the track, was forced out late by a drifting rival and just missed. TAX IMPLICATIONS (GB) rated off the pace between runners, angled out past the five-sixteenths, was ten wide in upper stretch, bid at the three-sixteenths taking a narrow lead, drifted in throughout the drive bumping a rival past the sixteenth pole. FEV ROVER (IRE) broke outwardly, was caught wide, went about four deep on the turn making a moderate advance, shifted out leaving that bend and was nine wide in upper stretch, was carried in by the aforementioned runner and bumped inside the sixteenth pole while also being forced to steady. MILLIE GIRL tracked close up from inside, waited briefly near the five-sixteenths, found room between four wide at the top of the stretch but failed to rally. MISSION OF JOY stalked outside three to four wide and up close from the second flight, floated six wide turning for home making a bid and obtaining a narrow and brief lead, lugged in and weakened thereafter. PRINCESS CALLA (SAF) dwelt at the start spotting the field double-digit lengths, made a swift early advance inside headed up the backstretch to reach mid-pack, came off the rail in upper stretch two to three deep and ran on evenly late. CANISY set the early pace from off the rail, was joined by an inside rival coming to the three-quarters, dueled with that one, drifted five wide leaving the turn, weakened. QUEEN MACHA broke outwardly and was also forced out a bit at the start, settled off the pace racing about four wide into and on the turn, came out ten deep for the stretch run, failed to menace. SPANSIVE was forced out at the break, angled to the rail early then rapidly advanced inside, engaged the leader to duel at the three-quarters, faltered in the stretch and faded. SPARKLE BLUE was caught outside foes five wide on the turn, floated eleven wide into upper stretch, was never near enough to threaten. DOLCE SOPRESA was up close stalking two to three wide between runners in the second flight, came out in upper stretch and faded. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF FEV ROVER (IRE) AGAINST TAX IMPLICATIONS (GB) ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM THIRD AND PLACED FOURH BEHIND THE FORMER.
