Chart notes
HOLLYWOOD RUMOR raced mid-pack to the turn, launched a bid with three furlongs to run swung four wide into the stretch and finished with a good rally under strong handling and was along in time. TIGER QUEEN broke well and stalked SUPERSONIC FLYER under wraps through the early stages clear of the third horse, pulled even at the quarter pole, wore down that foe in deep stretch but could not hold off the winner. SUPERSONIC FLYER seized the early lead without much trouble, had TIGER QUEEN stalking to the outside, led to the quarter pole then fought back when that rival made a bid for the lead, battled gamely to mid-stretch but was outfinished in the final yards. ROSES R BLUE was not asked for speed from the break, saved ground through the turn was kept to task and was gaining late. PRINCESS HEKAWI veered out at the start then tracked four wide down the backstretch, was put into a stiff drive with three furlongs to run, failed to change leads in the stretch and could not improve. LAKER JET trailed well behind the pace through the early stages, made a mild mid-race move but could not sustain the bid and was outkicked in the stretch. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
