Chart notes
MR SCATTER lacked early speed, advanced four wide around the turn, closed outside, seized command near the sixteenth pole and powered clear. SPEED CONTROL raced in range three wide, bid in midstretch, steadied near the sixteenth pole and was outkicked. EKATI KING disputed the pace inside to the sixteenth pole and held well enough to preserve the show. WHATEVERWILBEWILBE set the pace two wide and weakened in the drive. SECRET LOVER hit the starting gate, raced well back two wide, swung seven wide in upper stretch and had a mild belated rally. AWESOME TRAIN went evenly inside. FIRST TEAM chased the pace three wide around the turn and faded through the lane.
