Chart notes
CAJUN'S CHOICE set an uncontested pace in the two path, was roused along the inside midway around the far turn, and dug in from the two path down the lane to hold sway. FROSTY THE ROMAN had an awkward start, was held up while three wide around the first turn, raced off the pace in the five path down the backstretch, ranged up three wide under coaxing around the far turn, ran on to bid passing the eighth pole, but was repelled by the winning pacesetter to be second best. DIXIE PREACH trailed in the five path early, was cued while three wide passing the three-eighths mark, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, and finished evenly for show. FRONT TRAFFIC rated in the three path, was ridden into the far turn, but did not factor. ICONIC ROCK tracked in the four path, was driven in the two path around the far turn, but faded in the stretch. DECISIVE PRIDE chased in the four path early but dropped back after a half and never threatened. MISTER COOPER was unhurried along the inside early and never menaced. LAST RUN stalked in the three path but weakened along the inside turning into the stretch.
