Chart notes
KATHLYNS PHALANX hustled up from between rivals to take control of the pace shortly away from the gate, set a well rated pace under constant pressure, responded when called upon turning for home and pulled clear in the lane without further threat. HIGH TRACK reserved off the pace in the first quarter, made a steady gain while saving ground along the rail through the turn and showed good late interest to kick in the last sixteenth and garner the place. MIDNIGHT FAME was well placed just off the pacesetter down the backside, rallied from three wide on the bend to loom up at the quarter pole and flattened out in the lane. LADYS CHANT tracked the leaders to the top of the lane and finished evenly lacking a closing response. CHANNEL ME IN trailed for a half mile and was one-paced never posing a threat. RED BETTY pressed the pace from between rivals for three-eighths and came up empty.
