THUNDER BERN unhurried in the early going to be the trailer, angled eight wide at the head of the lane while still at the rear and closed well to burst passed the leaders in deep stretch. ON RESERVE bumped rival at the start, was reserved along the rail down the backside, hugged the fence saving ground on the bend, cut the corner to rally up the fence to the lead inside the eighth pole and was outkicked by the rapid rallying winner. ANHINGA set the early pace down the backside, settled off the early bid of rival into the turn, reeled that one in mid-stretch to duel the runner-up in deep stretch and was out-finished in the final yards. RUE DE MOSEL TOV chased the leaders through the turn from four wide and failed to gain ground in the lane. HAZARD PAY stalked the pace for a quarter, made an early bid taking command into the turn to open a clear lead and weakened in the stretch drive. U KNOW WHEN U KNOW bumped at the start and went evenly never posing a threat.
