SIDNEY'S BID forwardly placed leaving the start, stalked the early pace from the inside into the first turn, advanced between rivals into the backstretch run and attended to the decent pace nearing the half-mile, got caught in tight approaching the far turn and checked at the three-eights, lost position nearing the quarter pole and could not muster a late response. BRYSONS OPTION took back off of the early pace, was carried four to five wide into the first turn, recovered and tracked the decent pace through the backstretch run, chased three to four wide into the far turn and did not factor late. DUKE OF DOOLY hustled leaving the break, vied for the lead into the first turn then assumed command, set a decent pace into the backstretch run, came under pressure at the half-mile marker, overtaken into the far turn and faded in the late stages.
