ROSE GOLD CANDY away in good order, was sent to assume early command and set a moderate pace nearing the half-mile marker, was well handled into the turn and set a pressured pace nearing the quarter pole, battled DINA'S TOUCH into upper stretch, repelled that foe past the furlong marker and edged away late to prove best. DINA'S TOUCH bobbled at the start, broke a bit slowly and rushed up between runners in the early stages, pressed outside of ROSE GOLD CANDY into the turn, battled that rival into upper stretch and was repelled nearing the furlong marker, could not make headway on the winner in the late stages and was a clear second best. SEVEN'S MAGIC chased the moderate early pace from the outside, ran in pursuit four wide into the turn, weakened into the stretch and was clear late for third. LASS SASSENACH chased the early pace three wide and between rivals, shifted to the inside entering the turn, ran in pursuit to the quarter pole, lacked a response into upper stretch and faded in the late stages. UPTOWN MISS raced close up to the moderate early pace, lost position nearing the turn, gave way into the stretch and lacked a late response. PEGSTER chased the moderate early pace while widest nearing the half-mile marker, ran in pursuit four to five wide into the turn, was outrun into the stretch and came up empty in the late stages.
