Chart notes
PRICELESS WILL was allowed to settle into stride trailing the field along the backstretch, started to mount a rally on the rail in midturn, had a quick turn of foot on the fence at the top of the stretch, shifted out four wide finding a seam with a furlong remaining, switched leads at the sixteenth pole and edged away at the wire for the win. MOON LANDING travelled in midfield in the two path with runners on either side, narrowed the gap on the leaders by the quarter marker, fought on stubbornly through the lane to briefly poke his head in front nearing the sixteenth pole but was outkicked late by the winner while besting the rest in the end. GUNS N' ROJAS settled inside two other runners in the next to last group down the backstretch, was one paced between foes throughout the bend, shifted out four wide at the top of the lane and with a strong late move split horses in the final seventy yards to win third place at the wire. FAN CLUB was off a step slow to begin, was coaxed on the fence in mid-pack along the backside, kept pace while going two wide around the bend, angled to the five path at the top of the lane and just missed winning the duel for the show money. LAPOCHKA stalked in the second to last group travelling outside foes, made little impact going three wide on the outside through the turn, angled out in the six-path turning for home and finished with some interest to pass weary foes in deep stretch. SOUPER WATSON had a tracking role three wide on the outside of the frontrunner in the early stages, shifted just outside to be four wide in the thick of things straightening out for the drive to the wire but weakened between foes in deep stretch. MT LOGAN settled in mid-division three deep on the outside, ran evenly between rivals throughout the turn, angled out five wide for the drive but lacked a rally to the finish line. RETAINED tracked the leader inside while under a good hold along the backside, was nudged on around the turn sitting just behind the pacesetter, skimmed the rail to be in the hunt inside by upper stretch but retreated inside rivals with a sixteenth left to run. IT'S A FLUKE pulled the rider to the lead, tossed its head up entering the backstretch, rolled along setting the pace up front throughout the turn, was clinging onto the lead in upper stretch but could not fend off rivals late and was engulfed in the final sixteenth.
