Chart notes
DAVID OF ATHENS brushed with rivals on both sides soon after the start, tracked two wide between horses, then inside of a rival while in the two path around the turn, tipped to the three path with multiple lengths to find on the embattled top pair in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid three deep entering the final sixteenth and edged past. CAMP HALE prompted three deep early on, sparred with a single inner rival around the turn, wrestled a narrow advantage entering the lane, clung to that margin as his inner counterpart battled on through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole, got bested and held place. PATCH ADAMS lightly brushed with an outer rival in the opening stages, set the pace inside of a pair of foes early on, dueled with an outer rival around the turn, got headed entering the lane, fought on gamely to sustain the battle through midstretch, but was outkicked by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole and was denied place. AIN'T NO DISCO stalked three wide, pursued floating to the four path in upper stretch and chased willingly. WHITE WHALE broke a step slow, lacked speed in the three to four path around the turn, fanned out to the six path while advancing into the lane, then continued progress hanging on his left lead. T KRAFT pursued off of the pace in the three path, ran on mildly and failed to menace. AMBRIDGE dropped back between horses after the start, trailed in the two path, shifted to the four path into upper stretch and improved position. KNICKS GLORY broke a beat slow, lacked speed along the inside, moved two wide around the turn, then to the five path in upper stretch and failed to factor on his left lead. GLOBAL PROSPERITY broke outwardly, pursued from midpack four wide, then tired. MISSED THE TURN dropped back early on, raced well back in the four to five path, trailed turning for home and made little impact. THOUSAND DEGREES chased along the inside and faded around the turn. BOB MO prompted two wide and between horses for a quarter mile, but chased into the turn, then weakened along the inside around it.
