Chart notes

SNOOKERED rated kindly inside runners in midfield, closed the gap when nudged through the final turn, shifted outside for running room three wide by the quarter pole, loomed the main threat in the five path at the top of the stretch and wore down rivals down the lane to inch away for the win just before the finish line. ETHNIC SOUL broke out on the break, settled between foes in mid-division, was hard ridden keeping pace with the leaders on the final turn, closed in to be in the thick of things two wide turning for home, had a nose advantage for a moment inside rivals at the sixteenth pole but just missed holding on for the win at the finish line. PERFECT PLAY travelled on the rail at the rear, began to edge closer following the eventual winner on the rail throughout the far turn, skimmed the fence to be in the hunt with a furlong to run inside horses, could not go with the top two finishers late but did stay on to be a clear third at the finish. WHISKEY ROW was tucked in on the rail under a snug hold watching the pacesetter, shifted outside in the two path at the half, moved in to seize command outside with five sixteenths from home, dueled up top four wide in upper stretch but weakened in the last sixteenth of a mile. AWESOME ENTRY took this field into the first turn, continued up front down the backside, relinquished the lead inside midpoint around the final bend, dug back in to have his head in front again by mid-stretch, could not keep going late and faded at the sixteenth pole. TRINITY PARK was brushed inside on the start, was near the rear with company on either side down the back straight, put in a mild run when splitting horses three wide at the quarter pole, shifted out seven wide for the drive to the wire but finished up one paced down the lane. CANADIAN DADDY was part of the group at the back travelling three wide, was eager pulling the rider down the backstretch outside foes, tried to circle around rivals five wide midway on the far turn, angled out widest in the eight path for the stretch run but lacked a rally to the wire. MODDASSAH stalked in the third grouping three wide outside horses, had no run three wide around horses in the final turn when urged, could see the field by the quarter pole and could not offer a finish down the stretch. TAX INCLUDED tracked three wide in the early stages, was scrubbed on for more three wide at the three-furlong pole, offered no response and backed away thru the far turn and came up empty for the stretch drive.
