Chart notes
GOOD SOLDIER rated inside mid-pack in behind the leaders, advanced into the far turn, was guided out past the five-sixteenths, took the lead two to three deep at the top of the stretch, kicked clear and was kept to the task late. ARGENTIUM was bumped into a rival at the start, settled inside off the pace saving ground, tipped out in mid-stretch to advance past a rival and gained the place from between foes while no match for the winner. MIGHT BEE SPEEDY got away well and was forwardly-positioned stalking up close two to three wide, steadily dropped back up the backstretch and into the far turn, put to stout urging by the top of the stretch, came again in the stretch to obtain show honors. CANTUCCI broke sharply but bumped a rival, quickly moved clear to set the pace inside, weakened some in the stretch. JACK THE CAT had position stalking outside mid-pack three to four wide early, advanced mildly five to six wide late on the far turn, drifted out a bit in the stretch and ran on. BET N WIN was forwardly-positioned and caught outside stalking three to four wide, applied brief mild pressure midway up the backstretch, continued to chase four deep, weakened in the stretch. VICTORIA'S CHIEF was between runners mid-division early, backed up late up the backstretch then was put to urging and angled out at the seven-sixteenths, went five to seven wide on the far turn, failed to menace. HELL BENT was caught outside at the rear three to four wide and a bit rank early on the first turn, advanced outside four to five wide into and on the far turn reaching striking distance but could not sustain the effort. ROBITAILLE was bumped at the start, raced between runners at the back early, dropped back and was encouraged from the half but had no response.
