Chart notes
WIN FOR FUN trailed the field for the first furlong then steadily advanced from three wide through the turn, took command at near the eighth pole and held on. ROSIE'S BOY raced in the middle of the pack while moving up around the turn but lacked room at the top of the stretch and had to angle out to three wide at the eighth pole but was able to make a late gain on the winner to be second best. DOCS CARO CAT sprinted away to press the pace from two wide to midway through the turn, engaged the leader and took a brief lead into the stretch but was overtaken quickly and had no late kick. NOTACRY was hustled away to a pressured lead on the inside to midway through the turn where he was headed but kept on to the quarter pole before weakening. SHARP AZ NAILS sped away from the gate to challenge for the early lead then settled off the pace while saving ground to the turn and gave way. FUNNY ACTOR was in the middle of the pack on the inside early but had to steady near the five furlong marker and dropped back.
