Chart notes
LITTLE MIGHTY MAN shared the early lead just outside WARNING LABEL, moved ahead into the turn, was challenged from outside nearing the end of a half mile, roused leaving the bend then steadily drew off under a drive in the lane. CARL G was away slowly, hustled up from outside to reach contention four wide on the turn, lost further ground staying outside MINNESOTA MOON entering the stretch but caught the latter for second late. MINNESOTA MOON raced in the second flight while just outside LITTLE MIGHTY MAN, vied for the lead leaving the bend, was no match for that one when set down for the drive and slowly wore down inside the final furlong. ORBITAL STARR soon trailed, picked up his pace from along the rail leaving the turn, was steadied briefly when he lost his path along the rail upper stretch, altered out some and made up minor ground the last eighth. SAFE chased from just off the inside, angled out widest into the bend, fanned to the middle of the track entering the lane and failed to have a significant bid. CHERNYAHOVSKIY in contention early while toward the outside, faded three wide on the turn. JOEY B chased from outside and gave way two wide on the bend. WARNING LABEL was hustled along to dispute the pace from inside but began to yield before finishing three furlongs.
