GIANOLA allowed to settle while not far back in the early going, saved ground into the turn, angled four wide at the quarter marker and was asked for run into upper stretch, mounted a five wide bid at the furlong pole, was full of run into the final sixteenth, took command into deep stretch and edged away in the late stages. DORADUS prominent away from the start, stalked the moderate early pace from the outside heading to the half-mile pole, tracked two to three wide into the turn and chased GALLOPING MAJOR nearing the quarter marker, bid into the stretch, vied for the lead at the furlong marker and took command past mid-stretch, was overtaken by GIANOLA into the final sixteenth, could not match strides with the winner into deep stretch and held well late for second. NOTCH bobbled at the start and was away from the gate a bit slowly, settled off of the early pace while never far back, chased two to three wide into the turn, floated to the five path into upper stretch, closed willingly while widest into deep stretch, got up for third in the final strides and just missed for second. PAISLEES PROMISE away in good order, settled just off of the early pace and tracked from the inside heading to the half-mile pole, well placed approaching the turn, saved ground nearing the quarter marker and chased from the inside into upper stretch, could not find more into the final sixteenth and was outfinished for third in deep stretch. GALLOPING MAJOR sent to assume early command, set a moderate pace heading to the half-mile marker, showed the way into the turn and extended the lead at the quarter pole, came under pressure into the stretch and dug in nearing the furlong grounds, was overtaken past mid-stretch and faded in the late going. GALLO DEL CIELO off a step slow to begin, was hustled to be forwardly placed in the early stages, stalked the moderate pace from the outside heading to the half-mile pole, chased three to four wide into the turn and was well placed at the quarter marker, lost position into upper stretch and lacked a late rally. CRAZY STORM forwardly placed leaving the start, chased the moderate early pace from between rivals, ran in pursuit two to three wide and between runners into the turn, was outkicked into the stretch and weakened in the late stages. THECHIEFHASTRICKS took back off of the moderate early pace, trailed into the turn and did not factor late. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
