Chart notes

MINERAL RIGHTS stalked the early pace from the outside, went up and pressed the pace three deep nearing the half-mile pole, contested the moderate pace three then two wide into the turn, took a narrow lead at the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch, shook free at the furlong marker, was kept to task into the final sixteenth and drew away late under steady handling. BRONZE'S FLOWER broke alertly and sped to the early lead, came under a snug early hold and ceded the lead nearing the half-mile pole, stalked the moderate pace from the inside entering the turn, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, shifted four wide into upper stretch, chased MINERAL RIGHTS into the final furlong, was no match for the winner in deep stretch and stayed on late to be second best. LOTSA STEEL stalked the early pace from between runners, went up to press the pace and took a narrow lead nearing the half-mile marker, disputed the pace inside of MINERAL RIGHTS into the turn, contested the moderate pace heading to the quarter pole, battled MINERAL RIGHTS into upper stretch, outkicked at the furlong pole, could not keep pace with the top pair into the late stages and held clearly in the end for third. TRIPLE SLIPPER a step slow away from the start, settled off of the moderate early pace while not far back, chased four wide into the turn, was outrun into the stretch and lacked a late response. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
