LAMMAS (GB) away in good order, took back to track the early pace, went three to four wide into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace from between runners along the backstretch run, well placed at the half-mile pole, roused four to five wide nearing the quarter pole, responded into upper stretch and loomed at the furlong marker, took command into the final sixteenth and determinedly held in the late stages to prevail. COALINGA ROAD broke in and crowded a neighboring rival at the start, was a step slow to begin but recovered and settled in the second flight heading to the first turn, tracked the moderate pace while inside of rivals into the backstretch, well placed at the half-mile pole, gained ground and loomed from the inside nearing the quarter pole, vied for the lead into upper stretch, took a narrow advantage at the furlong marker and led past mid-stretch, was overtaken by LAMMAS into the final sixteenth, fought gamely into deep stretch but was outfinished late and was a clear second. NO SECRET broke alertly, assumed early command and cleared the field passing the wire for the first time, set a prompted pace into the first turn, carved out moderate fractions while prompted through the backstretch run, was pressured into the far turn and led to the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch and lost the lead nearing the furlong grounds, stayed on stubbornly into the final sixteenth, could not match strides with the leading pair into deep stretch and held safely late for third. RIMPROTECTOR settled off of the early pace, raced two to three wide and between runners into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace from between rivals along the backstretch, chased two to three wide to the quarter pole, gained ground at mid-stretch, finished evenly in the late stages and was outkicked in the final sixteenth. HONOS MAN allowed to settle away from the start, saved ground into the first turn, unhurried while not far back through the backstretch run, saved all of the ground into the far turn, mounted an inside rally into the stretch, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and flattened out late. SALESMAN (IRE) squeezed at the start, was off slowly and trailed in the early stages, unhurried through the backstretch run, was guided four to five wide at the quarter pole, swung widest into the stretch, gained ground at the furlong marker, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and finished evenly. ARMA D'ORO prominent away from the start, went up and stalked the early pace outside of NO SECRET, prompted the pacesetter through moderate fractions into the backstretch run, pressed the pace three wide into the far turn and vied for the lead at the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace at the furlong marker and faded in the late stages. SHORTMAN a bit slow into stride away from the start, settled in the second flight to begin and went four wide into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace while widest through the backstretch run, chased three wide into the second turn and lost ground at the quarter pole, lacked a response into the stretch and did not factor late. PRINCE ABU DHABI forwardly placed leaving the start, raced close up to the early pace and tracked from the three path into the first turn, tracked outside of rivals into the backstretch run and was well placed at the half-mile pole, chased three to four wide into the far turn, got caught a bit in tight at the top of the stretch and was shuffled back at the three-sixteenths, lost position at the furlong marker and tired in the late stages. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
