Chart notes
FANTASTIC DAY was allowed to settle from the break and tracked well behind the pace, moved closer on the turn under handling then came five wide into the stretch and produced a strong rally under strong handling and intermittent urging and was along in time. IRREFUTABLE sprinted to the front and crossed over to the two path when clear, held about a length advantage to the turn then got challenged by ATOMIC DROP to the inside, turned that foe away then rebid in the stretch opened up but was caught late. MY DOMINATOR broke a step slow and a little sideways then raced mid-pack to the turn, was under strong handling when starting a bid from the three furlong marker came four wide into the stretch, finished well but came up short. CORN POP stalked the pace three wide down the backstretch, loomed a threat on the turn, remained in contention to mid-stretch but was not good enough. ATOMIC DROP was hustled out of the gate then stalked IRREFUTABLE from the inside, went to challenge for the lead near the quarter pole then weakened in the stretch. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
