Chart notes
CARDIFF CRACK was allowed to settle and rated nicely while the pace scenario played out up front, took an inside path into the stretch and finished well under steady handling, gained the advantage inside the sixteenths pole and held on to win. TRUSTY RUSTY raced just behind the dueling leaders the advanced three wide through the far turn, came four wide into the stretch got on even terms wtih CARDIFF CRACK in deep stretch but weakened a bit in the final yards. ANITANEWMERCEDES seized the early lead while being constantly shadowed by MCLAREN VALE to the far turn, was first to go under a ride approaching the five-sixteenths pole, battled to back to take a short lead at the top of the stretch but was outkicked late. MCLAREN VALE pressed ANITANEWMERCEDES through the early fractions went to challenge for the lead approaching the quarter pole without really being asked then flattened out in the stretch. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
