MISS LAO was carried out early then tracked the solo leader on the outside, angled in near the five-eighths pole, moved up to make a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied inside on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, gained the lead outside the eighth-pole, was given one pop of a right-handed crop into the final furlong and drew off under a hand-ride while kept to the task. AMY'S LIGHT was fractious in the gate then acted-up just before the gate opened, came out slow while in the hands of the assistant starter ever so slightly longer then the rest of the field, settled under some urging, moved closer late on the backstretch, chased in the four then five path on the turn, dropped to the three path into the stretch, moved out inside the furlong marker and willingly got up for the place. GEOPOLITICS was fractious in the gate, drifted out while going to the front, showed the way while in hand, was let out in the three path on the turn, drifted out into upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker and weakened then just lost the place. BROOKLYN DANTZ was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, saved ground while urged along off the pace and failed to rally. POSEIDON'S MIST moved out while urged along, gained late on the backstretch, chased while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn and tired.
