Chart notes
INBOUND was reserved early, advanced on the turn, six wide by the quarter pole, came six wide off the bend and lugged in nearing the furlong marker, then was corrected and continued to close well to edged clear late to prove best under a drive. FREE DROP BACH chased the early pace on the inside, two wide by the quarter pole while advancing, swung out four wide leaving the turn and made a bid to gain a short lead by the sixteenth marker but was out-kicked by the winner late, second best. SLEIPNIR pressed the pace and made a four wide bid on the turn to gain a short lead by the quarter pole, then remained in front leaving the furlong marker but faded in the final sixteenth. DUKE OF DOOLY pressed the early pace on the inside, shuffled back on the turn and then ran on to improved late. BLACKWATER FALLS was reserved early, saved ground on the turn, cut the corner leaving the turn and had a belated rally. WEMBY was bumped at the break, pressed the pace three wide and weakened in the drive. PLENTY OF TIME was settled early, three wide on the turn, came three to four wide off the turn and was in traffic nearing the furlong marker but weakened late. SETTE STELLE showed no speed and lacked a serious rally. ON THE CHILL set a pressured pace early while two wide and faltered in the lane. DUDEWITHANAME was bumped at the start, close up three wide early, then moved out on the turn and was five wide by the quarter pole and stopped.
