Chart notes
NORMA NO shifted in and advanced inside under coaxing to take the lead about the seven-sixteenths, moved clear soon after, was challenged and nearly headed at the top of the stretch but found more and turned back that rival to kick clear yet again then held safe. EMERALD LAKE broke awkwardly and brushed a rival, settled off the pace, advanced outside four to five wide midway on the turn, came out wider for the drive, ran on to secure the place but without threatening the winner. DIFFERENT DRUM stalked from outside early, shifted in at the half, steadied when in tight about the three-eighths, kept on inside to be best of the rest. PROUD SPEAKER brushed lightly with a rival at the start and was put to urging taking the early lead briefly, continued to press from outside then chased after the eventual winner two to three wide on the turn drawing nearer and almost even in a modest bid at the top of the stretch, could not sustain the effort and flattened out late. AIRY FAIRY was a bit reluctant to load, exchanged a bump at the start, was well-positioned advanced outside three to four wide on the turn, kept on in the stretch but needed more. REMEMBERING RHODA chased from inside mid-pack, shifted out three wide coming to the midpoint of the turn, ran on in the stretch but needed more. ENGLISH BISCUIT bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace racing near the inside on the turn, angled out at the quarter pole having advanced mildly but evened out in the stretch. WICKED MIAH broke a step slowly and brushed lightly, lacked early speed racing well back early, swung out nine wide for the stretch run, was never near enough to threaten. ITS A BIRDIE exchanged minor contact at the start, chased racing mostly four to six wide on the turn, failed to menace. SEATTLE SIGNAL was urged forward from the start and soon made the lead having been guided well off the rail, was soon overtaken by an inside foe and chased that one briefly, was done at the three-eighths and retreated.
