Chart notes
TIMES A BREEZE was in good position tucked in on the fence behind the pacesetter, had an ideal set up all alone tracking the contesting pair down the backside, waited for the cue to move on the rail around the final bend, pounced when shifting out five wide at the top of the lane to seize command in mid-stretch and was going away for the win at the wire. ENGLISH ACTOR settled in mid-pack three wide, stalked in the third flight between rivals at the half, took the short way around the far turn, burst between horses in the two path at the eighth pole but was no match for the winner who got away in deep stretch. STOKE THE FIRE was unhurried to trail in the first turn, galloped along contently seeing the field down the backside, could not make any headway three wide on the final bend, angled out eight wide turning for home, then quickly shifted back in, to the four path by upper stretch and surged between rivals at the seventy-yard pole closing in to capture third money at the finish line. RAYMORE prompted the pace on the outside, took closer order to even poke his head in front briefly at the half, fought on stubbornly up top outside around the last turn, still remained in the hunt three wide between foes turning for home but evened out at the sixteenth pole to garner only a minor placing in the end. RIDEAU HALL stalked near the rear three wide, continued an outside trip three deep along the backside in the third grouping, moved in three wide entering the last turn to be in range in the six path at the top of the lane, could not sustain the rally and weakened at the furlong marker. BEYOND ADVERSITY travelled in midfield between foes in the two path, stalked in the third tier on the fence at the half, dropped back with seven sixteenths from home, offered a brief turn of foot two wide midway around the far turn, angled out seven wide for the stretch run but failed to fire in the drive to the wire. TUTTI CONTENTI was eager on the lead while fighting the hard hold from the rider entering the first turn, dueled inside into the backstretch, lost the front monetarily in mid-backstretch, fought back regaining the top spot while battling inside around the last bend but had no answer when the closers moved in at the eighth pole and retreated on the fence with a sixteenth of mile remaining.
