Chart notes
FAR MORE closed to the lead at the three eighths pole and rated the pace while tapering in through the backstretch, was hand ridden to widen on the turn, then steadily handled in the lane. HOLD DEM contested the pace from the start, dropped back past the five sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the turn and settled for second. VIESTE chased outside, rounded the turn about the five path and passed some rivals. ODDS OF JOY gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn and showed little in the lane. HOLY MOAT contested the early pace with a slim lead, was met at the three eighths pole and gave chase from that point, raced near the rail on the turn and weakened in the lane. HEART STOPPING gave chase, raced near the rail on the turn and showed little in the lane. SWISS HORIZON broke awkwardly and a step slow then never factored while saving ground.
