Chart notes
I'M RIPPED sped clear and crossed over, set all the pace to the stretch, drew away when asked in upper stretch and remained strong when kept busy to the wire. CALIFORNIA TIGER settled between rivals, rounded the bend two then three wide, tipped out in the drive and finished willingly to gain second. SPIRITUAL ADVISOR coaxed from the gate, chased up close from inside, asked right handed leaving the turn and got outkicked for the place honors. BEE EYE GEE coaxed from the gate, had to pause when put in tight along the rail at the nine-sixteenths pole, climbed from the half-mile pole to the seven-sixteenths marker, trailed on the inside around the bend, angled out in the lane and improved position. WINDRIBBON stalked widest early outside rivals, took the turn three wide and weakened down the lane. SPECIAL CLUB forwardly placed outside a rival early, chased two wide on the turn then between rivals late on the bend and faded out of contention.
