Chart notes
UPCHARGE unhurried in the beginning, traveled along the inside then tipped two wide on the far turn, angled out leaving the bend and took aim four wide into the stretch, reached the front midstretch and kicked clear in the final sixteenth. LAST ELIZABETHAN stalked from inside, roused and tipped out at the quarter pole, spun three wide into the lane, challenged between rivals while getting floated out a bit outside the eighth pole and got outkicked by UPCHARGE in the final sixteenth. BLUE FASHION lost her path and took up at the start, tucked inside at the back, passed a rival into the far turn, moved out three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, chased four deep at the quarter pole, finished willingly down the lane and gained third. STEP IT OUT (IRE) rated outside the pacesetter through the early stages, bid from outside at the five-sixteenths pole, took over into the lane, drifted out a bit in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole and flattened to fourth. NAKOTA (IRE) settled in the three path then got floated out by CRIMSON SONATA briefly on the clubhouse turn before returning to the three path, chased in the two path around the far turn and improved position. MATTERS traveled two wide then along the rail on the first turn, hugged the rail through the second bend, moved out entering the final furlong and failed to threaten. SHE BE BOSS bobbled leaving the gate, stalked three deep, lost ground two then three wide on the far turn and weakened. ABOVE ALL ELSE cleared and steered over to the inside, dictated terms up the backstretch, pressured STEP IT OUT (IRE) at the five-sixteenths pole, lost command into the stretch and gave way. CRIMSON SONATA was hard to ride in the early going when tossing her head and drifting on the first turn, continued to be a handful on the backstretch, dropped back to last around the far turn and had little left for the stretch run.
