Chart notes
STRETCH PASS had a slim lead on the rail into the initial turn, then was throttled down to track the loose pacesetter while shifting outside down the back straight, cruised on past for the lead at the quarter pole and drew away with ease down the stretch. SEATTLE STINGER broke a step slow to trail early on, was content to lope along at the rear along the backstretch, began to go by rivals at the quarter pole, was squeezed in tight between horses in the four path at the top of the lane, bullied his way through by upper stretch and finished up to be a distant second at the wire. BLONDINA'S BOY tracked on the inside watching the front two into the first turn, settled in midfield along the backstretch, kept pace saving all the ground around the last bend and battled on the fence for the runners up share down the lane but settled for third money when crossing the finish line. MUCHO MAGNIFICO stalked on the rail in the second to last group down the backside, started to mount a rally inside runners at the three eighths pole, shifted three wide at the quarter pole, angled five wide for the drive, drifted inwards when switching leads outside rivals in upper stretch and finished up willingly for a minor placing. NIGHT STRIKER pressed the pace on the outside at the beginning, cleared for an unchallenged lead along the backside, was collared outside by the winner at the quarter pole, offered no resistance, began to get leg weary chasing the leader at the eighth pole and wilted in the final seventy yards losing a few placings late. COPROLITE travelled three wide ahead of only the poor starter into the first turn, made no advance three deep down the backstretch, angled out six wide for the stretch running but could not get involved. POWAQA stalked near the rear with runners on either side down the backstretch, was urged but was going the wrong way through the final bend to see the field at the quarter pole and passed a straggler that was tiring in mid-stretch. QUANDALE had a tracking role in the second tier on the outside in the beginning, sat alone having a good trip while keeping a close eye on the lead pair down the backside, was asked right-handed midturn but could not keep up with the leaders around the turn, was knocked off stride three wide inside foes turning for home and folded between runners at the furlong marker.
