Chart notes
SOUPER ICONIC shifted in and advanced inside up the backstretch racing about two wide into the turn, shifted out past the five-sixteenths to be six wide coming to the top of the stretch and full of momentum, struck the lead about the eighth pole and drew clear. MAMBO BLUE set the pace inside, was pressured throughout, proved no match for the winner but held place. HIGHLAND ROCKY was outside at the rear, ridden along by the half, fanned eight wide into upper stretch and was bumped by a rival at that juncture, ran on willingly for show. RESTORING ORDER was a bit restless in the gate then broke a step slowly, saved ground inside on the turn, was in behind runners at the quarter pole but found room coming into upper stretch, ran on inside but needed more. HALCON NEGRO chased from inside mid-pack, angled out past the quarter pole, was three to four wide in upper stretch and in range looming a threat but could not sustain the effort and flattened out. TROPICAL GETAWAY was between runners at the ack into the turn and asked to pick it up from the half, fanned seven wide turning for home bumping a rival in the process, ran on. GET READY SET FIRE prompted the pace from between runners three wide, weakened. MODEL S pressed from between runners, dropped back and faded. LOADED JUSTICE attended the pace from outside four to five wide, was asked at the five-sixteenths and in range of the lead but faltered and faded. MANALUCIUS chased briefly under early encouragement, was done at the seven-sixteenths and retreated.
