Chart notes
SILVER SMOKE was hustled getting to the lead on the fence on the first turn, freewheeled loose up top down the backstretch, continued to move well unopposed through the last turn and was kept to the task down the lane to hold safely at the wire for the front-end score. FABELMAN travelled on the fence close to the back of the pack in the beginning, improved on the rail down the backside, edged up the fence on the last bend, shifted out with run three wide in upper stretch and finished up well late to comfortably best the rest at the finish line. AGILE DANCER was nestled on the rail behind the pacesetter, closed the gap up front by the quarter pole, chased but to no avail the frontrunner in upper stretch, dueled inside for the place award at the furlong marker but faded late to settle for the show money at the wire. DUBAWI BULL was unhurried at the rear, commenced a rally passing foes three wide on the outside at the quarter pole, swung out gathering more momentum seven wide at the top of the stretch and was running on end late to just get up at the shadow of the wire to be a fringe player in the end. GOOD POINT settled near the rear in the two path with rivals on either side along the backside, kept pace while urged through the far turn, shifted out to the five path to be in range for a piece of the prize straightening out for home but was one paced in deep stretch between foes just missing for a minor role. BEARING DOWN watched the frontrunner two wide between horses in the beginning, tracked outside down the backstretch, was nudged for more but was being passed on both sides by rivals making a move at the quarter pole and yielded with a furlong left to go. HATMAKER GIZMO had a stalked trip three wide early on, closed the gap but could not improve position down the back straight, took the short way through the turn but could not platy a factor in the drive to the wire inside foes. PANYARD TAP tracked three wide into the first turn, dropped back while travelled three deep on the outside along the backstretch, offered little run three wide around the first turn and came up empty for the stretch drive.
