Chart notes
WILDWOOD ADIOS vied for the early lead off the rail but inside rivals, took the rail into the bend, floated out some entering the lane, moved clear and kept EPIC MOMENT at bay under steady handling. EPIC MOMENT disputed the pace just outside WILDWOOD ADIOS, never relented in the stretch but lacked the needed late kick. REDHEADEDSTRANGER prominent from outside, was four wide taking the turn, could only make up minor ground deep stretch but was clearly best of the others. FEAR THE QUEEN dwelt at the break then was slow into stride, advanced from outside, just off the rail through the bend, angled out widest at the top of the lane, advanced upper stretch then could only make up minor ground in the late going as well. STEAL PROUD hesitated at the start, soon trailed from inside then only passed between a couple tired rivals the last furlong. WW BEST OF TIMES raced in contention just outside EPIC MOMENT but began to fade leaving the turn. LITTLE SASSER also hesitated at the break, chased from outside, reached contention along the rail on the bend but gave way for the drive.
