MUSICAL NUMBER chased two wide into the turn, three deep at the quarter pole, took aim two wide into the lane, seized control in upper stretch, drew clear from ICONIC MEMORY the furlong grounds and remained strong to the line. ICONIC MEMORY dueled from inside, put away outer rival at the quarter pole, challenged by MUSICAL NUMBER at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead shortly after, had the rider lose his crop at the eighth pole and stayed on well to retain second. DON'T TELL TAMMO broke inward, moved into range from inside, chased behind the leader through the turn while saving ground, lacked room and altered out in upper stretch, then finished willingly for a clear third. PRINCESS DADDY raced outside a rival near the back, went five wide into the turn, moved into the three path midway around the bend, got forced out by CIOPPINA PASADINA approaching the quarter pole and kept on to round out the superfecta. THIRSTY DESTINY lunged right as the gates opened, chased three deep then outside a rival, lost ground in the three path on the turn, then weakened down the lane. FAITHFUL TRUTH dropped back early, angled to the inside, saved ground through the turn, ran into traffic in upper stretch and could not rally once in the clear. CIOPPINA PASADINA hustled from the gate then had to take up behind ICONIC MEMORY early, started to climb past the five-eighths pole and dropped back off the pace, chased four wide into the turn, steered over to the two path, lugged out at the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. PROMISE ME KAT dueled for the lead from outside, lost command at the three-eighths pole, fought on then yielded to inner rival approaching the quarter pole and retreated through the stretch.
