IT AINT OVER had no early speed, moved to the rail when clear and saved ground through the turn, angled out to the five path for the stretch run, was still last approaching the eighth pole then unleased a furious rally down the middle of the track and was along in time. CUT ACROSS SHORTY tracked mid-pack to the turn, well off the pace, bided time on the turn looking for room, became boxed in upper stretch then split horses inside the sixteenth, surged near the wire and just missed. LANGSTON ROAD was first to the lead hen dueled with ALMANERA (IRE) through the initial stages, got the best of that rival on the turn then had to deal with challenges from OUR EXPECTATION and ELCONDOR approaching the quarter pole, kept both at bay to mid-stretch then weakened a bit in the late stages but held third in gutsy effort. OUR EXPECTATION tracked close up two off the rail, launched a bid from the three furlong marker, came out to challenge LANGSTON ROAD on the lead but found a resilient foe, battled to deep stretch but could not get by. QUIET CHARM lacked any early speed and raced near the back of the field down the backstretch, well off the pace, saved ground, came into the stretch with some momentum and improved some in the late stages. ELCONDOR raced close up down the backstretch, then bid four wide from the three furlong pole, loomed a threat passing the quarter pole but flattened out. LITTLE LILIANA raced wide down the backstretch, launched a mild bid still wide from the seven-sixteenths pole, came about five wide into the stretch but flattened out.
