KRISTIN LEE was shuffled back just a bit at the start, settled off of the early pace while never far back, chased five then four wide along the turn, loomed into upper stretch and took a narrow lead at the furlong marker, dug in while holding a slim lead past mid-stretch, lost the lead to LADY GREGORY into the final sixteenth, came again in deep stretch and got up at the wire for a determined win. LADY GREGORY stalked the early pace from inside of rivals, went up and contested the decent pace approaching the half-mile pole, took command into the turn and set a pressured pace heading to the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch then lost the lead at the furlong marker, fought gamely into the final sixteenth and came again into deep stretch, was nailed on the line for the win and held for second at the finish. STRANGE ADDICTION a step slow into stride away from the start, recovered and tracked the decent early pace from the second flight, saved ground into the turn, got caught in traffic while advancing nearing the quarter pole, found room into the stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, rallied in the final sixteenth and missed for the win and place, while clear of the rest for the show in a good effort. MAGIC CHROME prominent away from the start, disputed the decent early pace from between rivals, contested the pace outside of LADY GREGORY into the turn, vied for the lead into upper stretch, was outkicked into the final furlong and yielded in the late stages. ELEGANT SWAY broke a bit awkwardly and was a step slow to begin, was unhurried in the early stages, saved ground into the turn and advanced at the quarter pole, chased from the inside into upper stretch, was able to mount a mild late rally but needed more in the late stages. R B'S TIGER broke in at the start and was away slowly, settled off of the decent early pace, was guided six then five wide into the turn, gained ground at the quarter pole, chased five wide into the stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, could not muster the needed late response and finished evenly. CATCH N ANGEL forwardly placed leaving the start, chased the decent early pace from between rivals, chased four then three wide into the turn, was well placed at the quarter pole and ran in pursuit between runners into upper stretch, raced within aim at the quarter pole, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and faded late. CLARINA sent leaving the start, vied for the early lead and held a narrow advantage approaching the half-mile pole, bolted entering the turn and lost position along the bend, went eight wide into the stretch and did not factor in the late stages. RANDOS LADY away in good order, lacked early speed and trailed heading to the half-mile marker, saved ground into the turn, was outrun into the stretch and lacked a late response.
